Seven Wonders Of The World

Sunday, October 14th, 2007

I was just to touched by this story na kahit antok na antok ako bigla akong nagising sa kurot na binigay nito sa aking puso…

Ang kwento ay nagsimula sa isang klase sa social studies.  The teacher is dicussing about the different places that are popular around the world.  Syempre, just like any other conventional classes, nagsabi ang teacher na may quiz siya na ibibigay.  Umangal ang klase pero sabi ng teacher, "Wag kayong mag-alala, tayong lahat ang sasagot ng question." The class, in an instant, became cheerful.  So the teacher write the question on ythe board and the question is, "What are the seven wonders of the world?" All of the class answered, taj mahal of india, chichen itza in mexico, machu picchu in peru, the great wall of china, colleseum of italy, christ redeemer in brazil, and petra jordan. The teacher was so pleased with their answers that she almost didint noticed that one of her students ia having a hard time answering the quiz.  When the teacher noticed her, the teacher asked her whats the problem.  The student replied, "I cant complete my list because there are just too many."  The teacher said to the student, "One of your classmate is having trouble with the quiz can you help her?"  The students agreed to help her so the teacher said to the student, "Tell me what you’ve written and tell it to us so that we could help you."  Then the student said that the seven wonders of the world for her is:

1. to hear…

2. to speak…

3. to breath…

4. to touch…

5. to see…

6. to smell…

7. to feel…

After hearing these, the class became so quiet that if you drop a pin on the floor it will echo over tha room.

There are some things na minsan naooverlook natin.  Hindi namamalayan, hindi pinapansin, hindi iniisip, pero mahalaga.

Hope this story touched you the same way it touched me.  If you can, you can copy this and spread the word.

Be thankful not just for the big things, but also for the small things.
