     Naranasan mo na bang mawalan ng isang napakaimportanteng bagay sa buhay mo? Tao na minamahal na nawala o nang-iwan ng hindi mo alam ang dahilan? Hindi ba masakit?  Pero hindi ba mas masakit kung alam mo ang dahilan kung bakit kailangan niyang mawala o mang-iwan?  Marahil sa sakit o kung ano pa mang kadahilanan.  And pagnangyari yun, minsan we feel na parnag wala tayong magawa.  We feel so helpless.  So weak.  Pero kung ikaw ang tatanungin, what would you do?  Kung magising ka isang araw and you found out na isang mahalagang tao sa buhay mo ay malapit nang mawala? For those na naranasan na ang bagay na ‘to marahil makakaya nilang sagutin ang tanong na yan. Pero ako, hindi ko pa naiisip ang bagay na yan until last night…

     There was a guy who never thought he’ll fall in-love with the girl na palagi niyang inaasar.  They were not the best of friends yet, they found love in each other.  Its not that easy for the guy.  For one good reason that his girlfriend is the pastor’s daughter.  ONLY daughter.  But still they have fun, enjoying each others company. 

     While watching the stars, the guy ask the girl to look for a particular star.  He pointed its location on what seems to be a map of stars.  Then the girl asked why must she look for it.  And the guy pulled out a certificate that certify that the star is named after the girl.  The girl was so happy. 

     Time pass by quickly.  Until one night, while walking, the guy noticed that the girl was distracted.  He asked if there’s a problem.  Then the girl cried.  Silently, the guy waited for the girl to talk.  Then the girl said the she’s dying.  She is ill.  She is on treatment but stopped responding to it 2 years ago.  The guy can’t believe what the girl told her.  He’s just standing on the road crying.  The girl was so sad the she run back to their home leaving the guy alone.  It took a few minutes before the guy decided to move.  He got in his car and started driving.  Then he drop by his fathers house to ask for help since his dad is a doctor.  Then he returned home.  The guy love the girl very much so he didn’t care if she is sick.  He brought flowers for the girl for so many days.  But the girl wont see him.  Then he said to the girls father that he wont leave her.  Then one day, the girl came to his house.  She said she was sorry for not seeing him.  The guy smiled and while crying he ask the girl "Are you afraid to die?" And the girl replied "I’m not afraid to die.  I’m afraid not to be with you."  Then the guy did everything for her.  He even asked her to marry him.  Then, a few days after they got married, she died.  The guy applied for college to take up medicine.  After four years, he returned to town where he and his wife met.  He visited his Father-in-law and talked to him.  He gave him a notebook which was given to him by his wife before she died.  He visited the park where the guy and the girl would spend most of their time together.  Then he said, "Our love is like the wind.  You can’t see it but you can feel it."

     I was so moved by the story that it made me realize how short and important life is.  That’s why while I’m still living, and the ones I love is still living.  I will do my best to love them and make them feel how important they are to me.   Hindi ko man alam kung ano ang gagawin ko pag nawala sila o malaman ko na mawawala sila, atleast naipakita ko kung gaano ko sila ka mahal and how blessed I am to have you in my life.  Life, they say, is a journey.  And its better to take that journey with people whom you love.  So when the time comes that the journey will end.  You can say to them, "The journey with you, is definitely, A WALK TO REMEMBER…"
