It all starts with a friendly chat
And then it starts to grow from that
A feeling is growing from deep inside
But its a feeling that all must hide

But the feeling begins to slowly grow
And ever so slightly it begins to show
Now theyve been seen, so the faster the grow
And you get caught in it, caught in the flow

The sound of your voice, the smell of your hair
The touch of your hand, the taste of care
The sight of you in the suns bright light
Could keep me awake on the darkest of night

I look into your eyes and wonder , Should I do this
I start to lean forward, slowly, to give a gentle kiss
But then I notice, I stop, I realise
That theres a look of, Stop, in your eyes

So from there, I am quick to look away
Perhaps to try again another day
Whilst the feeling has grown greater inside
It has become almost impossible to hide

From here everything changes, I wait till your ready
Waiting for the day a relationship could be steady
I sit patiently, I wait, I listen and I watch your face
With a wonder of hope of a soft kiss, a gentle embrace
